【Testing Principle】
It simulates the subjective feeling process of human hands on fabrics. The indenters used are cylindrical, vividly simulating human fingers with fine textures to mimic fingerprints. The indenter layout (one upper and two lower) simulates the human touching process. The system quantifies corresponding indicators through physical tests such as compression, bending, friction and stretching of materials, obtaining curved surface compression thickness, softness (SF), stiffness (ST), slipperiness (SM) and tightness (LT), and then evaluates the comprehensive style of fabrics.
1.Thickness indicator: The thickness of the fabric under curved surface compression.
2.Stage Ⅰ: Curved surface compression obtains compression modulus, compression deformation, etc., expressed as softness (SF).
3.Stage Ⅱ: Bending test obtains maximum bending value, bending modulus, bending work, etc., expressed as stiffness (ST).
4.Stage Ⅲ: Friction test obtains average friction force, friction coefficient, friction work, etc., expressed as slipperiness (SM).
5.Stage Ⅳ: Tensile test obtains tensile modulus, tensile work, etc., expressed as tightness (LT). Comprehensive evaluation of test results: Comprehensive style (CH) = ASF + BST + CSM + DLT. Each indicator (SF, ST, SM, LT) is classified into five grades (Grade 1 to Grade 5). The comprehensive style is the weighted sum of softness, stiffness, slipperiness and tightness. Coefficients A, B, C and D are comprehensively determined according to the material's application, type, texture, etc.
