[Instrument Features]

  1. Adopts the national standard method (GB/T 2912.1-2009) and can simultaneously display formaldehyde measurement values and absorbance values.

  2. No need to prepare and calibrate formaldehyde standard solutions or plot working curves.

  3. Controlled by a microcontroller (MCU) with automatic spectral data processing functions.

  4. Uses chemical reagent packs for color development with a long shelf life (1 year). Small sample and reagent volumes reduce and prevent secondary pollution.

[Test Principle]Accurately weighed textile specimens are extracted in a 40℃ water bath for a specific time. The formaldehyde extracted from the fabric is absorbed by water. The extract is then developed with acetylacetone (turning yellow). Since this yellow compound has selective absorption of visible light, a colorimetric analysis method is used to measure the formaldehyde content in the test specimen using the textile formaldehyde tester.
