    The contact angle is the angle θ between the tangent to the gas‑liquid interface at the three‑phase (gas, liquid, solid) meeting point and the solid‑liquid interface within the liquid phase. Contact angle measurement is now a primary method for surface performance characterization.The YS‑200S Research Contact Angle Meter is based on optical imaging. It uses image contour analysis to measure surface contact angle, wetting properties, surface/interfacial tension, advancing/receding angle, surface energy, etc. The instrument is equipped with an automatic liquid dispensing device. **Application**  

Contact angle meters are widely used in many industries. In fields such as mobile phone manufacturing, glass 

production, surface treatment, material research, chemical engineering, semiconductor manufacturing, coatings 

and inks, electronic circuits, textile fibers, medical and biological applications, contact angle measurement has

 become an important tool for surface performance evaluation.

1. Spreading, penetration, absorption, and other wetting behaviors of liquids on solid surfaces; static contact angle measurement using the sessile drop method.  

2. Advancing angle, receding angle, contact angle hysteresis, rolling angle, and dynamic contact angle measurement.

As shown in the diagram, the contact angle meter mainly consists of a light source, an injection unit, a sample 

stage, an image acquisition system, and analysis software. The principle is optical imaging.
