Scope of Application
【Operating Instructions】
Applicable Scope:
Used for conducting direct shear friction tests between various geosynthetics and soil/aggregate materials, as well as pullout friction tests to determine the pullout resistance of geosynthetics embedded within surrounding soil masses.
Compliance Standards:
JTG E50-2006 T1129 "Test rule of geosynthetics for highway engineering - Direct shear friction test"
JTG E50-2006 T1130 "Test rule of geosynthetics for highway engineering - Pullout friction test"
SL 235-2010 "Test rule for geosynthetics in water conservancy"
GB/T 17635.1-1998 "Geotextiles and related products - Determination of friction characteristics"
Note: Complies with the above standards, but is not limited to them.
Instrument Features:
Multi-functional: Capable of performing both direct shear friction tests and pullout friction tests on geosynthetics with a single machine.
Dynamic Normal Force Testing: Utilizes a microcomputer servo-controlled dynamic testing system for normal force. Units (MPa, kPa, kgf/mm², N/mm², N/cm²) are selectable, and data such as force value and area are displayed directly.
Automatic Conversion & Servo Drive: The testing software directly converts shear stress into kilopascals (kPa) without manual calculation. Both normal and shear forces use servo drive systems with a dynamic load adjustment system for accurate data.
Stainless Steel Work Surface: The all-stainless steel table is easy to clean and effectively prevents soil particles from entering the internal mechanism of the instrument.
Certified Software: The software holds a software test report certificate issued by a national inspection and testing institution, featuring the "CMA" (China Metrology Accreditation) mark.
High-Speed Data Acquisition: Dynamic data sampling frequency exceeds 3000 times per second, providing a more objective reflection of the material's mechanical properties.
Industrial Control System: Controlled by a Philips 32-bit industrial-grade microcontroller with a 16-bit A/D converter, offering strong anti-interference performance and fast data transmission.
PC Connectivity & Reporting: Supports computer processing for reports, graphs, screen display, or print output; supports remote online software upgrades.
Software System Functions: The instrument connects to a PC to record the entire test process. It displays real-time curves, shear force, and pullout force. It can calculate and analyze data (test date, shear stress, horizontal displacement) and curves for each stage of the test. Various statistical indicators (such as CV values) can be saved and exported to Excel.
