    The YS3000 Geotextile Xenon Weathering Tester is used for light resistance, weather resistance, and photo-aging tests of various geosynthetics. By controlling conditions such as light irradiance, temperature, humidity, water spray, and light/dark cycles within the test chamber, it provides a simulated natural environment to detect changes in specimen performance after light radiation exposure.

Applicable Scope:
The YS3000 Geotextile Xenon Weathering Tester is used for light resistance, weather resistance, and photo-aging tests of various geosynthetics. By controlling conditions such as light irradiance, temperature, humidity, water spray, and light/dark cycles within the test chamber, it provides a simulated natural environment to detect changes in specimen performance after light radiation exposure.

Complies with ISO 4892-2, GB/T 16422.2, ASTM D4355, JTG E50 T1163, and other related standards.

Instrument Features:

  1. Uses imported components and a modular design for stable and reliable performance.

  2. Microcomputer-controlled with an LCD touch screen interface, featuring Chinese menu display and animated display of the chamber's working status. The system stores national standards and operation manuals for easy reference.

  3. Irradiance employs digital closed-loop control technology for fully automated measurement and control, with an automatic power compensation function. The high-precision irradiance sensor is imported from Japan.

  4. Heat-absorbing filters (optical filters) have undergone spectral testing by the Optical Research Institute, meeting national spectral requirements to ensure accurate test results.

  5. Humidity control uses digital closed-loop technology with an ultrasonic humidifier for uniform atomization. The high-precision temperature and humidity sensor is imported from Switzerland.

  6. Features single and cumulative timing functions, allowing users to check the accumulated working hours of the xenon lamp and filters at any time.

  7. The outer shell is made of double-sided plastic-sprayed steel plate (Computer White), and the inner chamber is made of corrosion-resistant, easy-to-clean SUS304 stainless steel.

  8. Humidification Method: Steam humidifier system.

  9. Filter: Quartz glass filter, making the spectral cutoff value of irradiance on the specimen close to that of natural sunlight.

  10. Temperature Control: Refrigeration system control or air circulation control.

  11. Inner Chamber Cooling: Cooled by a French TAIKANG fully enclosed compressor. The system uses dynamic temperature balance regulation and intelligent PID automatic calculation to precisely maintain the set temperature.

  12. Safety Protections:

    • Xenon Lamp Protection: Interlocked with the compressor refrigeration system; the lamp automatically turns off if the compressor fails.

    • Water Shortage Protection: Automatic alarm if the water tank is low.

    • Power Protection: Phase loss and phase sequence protection.

    • Chamber Temperature Protection: Independent over-temperature protection.

    • Compressor Protection: Thermal overload protection.

    • Radiation Protection: The xenon lamp automatically turns off when the chamber door is opened.

Test Principle:
By controlling quantitative indicators such as light intensity, temperature, humidity, and water spray in the test chamber, the instrument provides simulated natural conditions to detect the light resistance, weather fastness, and photo-aging performance of specimens. It features online light intensity control, automatic monitoring and compensation of light energy, and multi-point regulation functions such as closed-loop temperature/humidity control and black panel temperature loop control.
