This method is suitable for determining the abrasion resistance of pure or blended yarns made from cotton, chemical staple fibers, and other textile materials.

**【Instrument Features】**  

1. Color touch screen display and control, with Chinese/English interface and menu‑driven operation mode.  

2. The core control unit uses a 32‑bit multifunctional motherboard from STMicroelectronics.  

3. The grinding roller moves back and forth at a constant speed and is equipped with a balancing device.  

4. The grinding roller rotation uses a precision sliding mechanism to minimize friction resistance.  

5. The tension weights use a quick‑change structure for simple and fast specimen loading.  

6. The tension spanning mechanism uses high‑quality ceramic inserts and quick‑change sample clamps.  

7. Data output is automatically printed.  

8. Uses constant‑speed friction with 20 testing positions; a microcomputer performs detection and data processing. The test results display the average

 abrasion cycles, coefficient of variation of abrasion cycles, maximum value, minimum value, and individual values for each of the 20 positions.
