Examples include bacteria-carrying skin squames (flakes) penetrating surgical gowns or cleanroom suits, and bacteria-carrying particles penetrating packaging materials during storage.The Dry Penetration Tester is used to determine the resistance of materials against bacterial penetration by dry particles within the size range of human skin squames.
