【Operating Instructions】

The purpose of this test is to define the responsibility of garment manufacturers to ensure that buttons, snaps, and fasteners are properly secured to the garment, preventing them from detaching and posing a choking hazard to infants. Therefore, all buttons, snaps, and fasteners on garments must be tested using a button pull tester.

**YG826 Button Pull Tester (Mechanical Type)**

**【Scope of Application】**

snaps, and fasteners are properly secured to the garment, preventing 

them from detaching and posing a choking hazard to infants. Therefore, all buttons, snaps, and fasteners

 on garments must be tested using a button pull tester.

**【Technical Parameters】**  

1. **Standard configuration:**  

   ① Pull test stand  

   ② Push-pull gauge  

   ③ Three-jaw chuck  

   ④ Tension clamp  

   ⑤ Bottom fabric clamp  

   ⑥ Calibration weight  

   ⑦ External dimensions: 280 × 220 × 780 mm  

2. **Operating instructions:**  

   (1) Attach the appropriate fixture for the button being tested and secure the test sample to the base.  

   (2) Lower the fixture, grip the button, and pull upward. Each button must withstand a minimum 

pulling force of 17 lbf (approximately 7.72 kg) for 10 seconds without loosening or 

showing signs of damage. A minimum of 20 buttons from each style must be tested to pass.  

   (3) If any button loosens or becomes damaged, or if it is replaced, all buttons must be retested.
