**【Usage and Explanation】**  

1. Apply PTFE tape to the mandrel as specified. Rotate the mandrel 360° along the accessible edge to be tested. Check whether 

the test tape is cut and determine the percentage of tape cut. If 50% or more of the tape is cut, the edge is considered a sharp edge.  

2. The edge to be tested must be an accessible edge determined after accessibility testing of the toy part or component.  

3. If the accessible edge on the assembled toy cannot be tested, it may be removed and tested separately under conditions 

that simulate the assembled toy.  

4. The key to sharp edge testing is to properly secure the edge to be tested, ensure the mandrel is at a right angle to the edge, 

and maintain no relative movement between the mandrel and the edge during the test.  

5. During rotation of the mandrel, ensure that the pressure applied to the mandrel is continuous and stable.
