Scope of Application

【Operating Instructions】

    This instrument measures the relative resistance to tracking of solid electrical insulating materials when exposed to water containing impurities under the influence of an electric field, at voltages up to 600V.When voltage is applied between specified electrode devices placed on the material surface, and electrolyte is dripped between the two electrodes at specified time intervals, tracking may occur under these test conditions. The number of drops required to cause material failure increases as the applied voltage decreases, and below a certain limit, no tracking occurs.

【Scope of Application】

When voltage is applied between specified electrode devices placed on the material surface, and electrolyte is dripped between the two electrodes at specified time intervals, tracking may occur under these test conditions. The number of drops required to cause material failure increases as the applied voltage decreases, and below a certain limit, no tracking occurs.

When the material does not track at the maximum test voltage, there may be varying degrees of corrosion, and the corrosion depth can be measured. Some materials may burn during the test.

【Instrument Features】

  1. Control System: Programmable controller with Touch Screen + PLC control.

  2. Drip Control: Step motor control ensures no leakage or dripping issues.

  3. Touch Screen Operation: Voltage, start drainage, switching, current, stop, exhaust, and lighting are all controlled via the touch screen. Test data can be stored in the touch screen. Upon test completion, the save interface automatically pops up; simply enter a save name to store the data. All saved data can be queried in historical records.

  4. Real-time Display: Voltage level, drip time, current level, drip count, door status, maximum current, and test results are displayed in real-time.

  5. Display: 7-inch full-color touch screen.

  6. Exhaust System: Equipped with a silent and backflow-prevention exhaust device on top to discharge smoke generated during combustion after the test.

  7. Voltage Setting: Direct setting of test voltage value.

  8. Drip Settings: Drip count and drip time are both adjustable.

  9. Auto-Judgment: Automatically determines if the test is qualified.

  10. Protection: Current overload protection.

  11. Safety: Automatic door status prompt; no voltage in the test area when the door is open.

  12. Peak Current: Prompts peak current value.

【Technical Specifications】

  1. Electrode Material: Test Electrode - Tungsten Carbide, Electrode Connector - Stainless Steel (Platinum electrodes available as an upgrade, please consult sales).

  17. Failure Criteria: When the short-circuit current in the test circuit is greater than 0.5A for a duration of 2 seconds, the relay operates, cutting off the current and indicating the specimen is unqualified (non-compliant).
