Scope of Application

【Operating Instructions】

    Used to test flooring materials placed horizontally and exposed to an inclined radiant heat field, ignited by a small flame. Applicable to various flooring materials such as textile carpets, cork, wooden boards, rubber sheets, plastic flooring, and floor coating materials. The apparatus reflects the combustion performance of flooring materials, including their substrates. Changes in backing materials, underlying materials, or other aspects of the flooring may affect the test results. It is used to test and describe the combustion characteristics and thermal response of flooring materials under controlled laboratory conditions.

Applicable Scope:
Used to test flooring materials placed horizontally and exposed to an inclined radiant heat field, ignited by a small flame. The apparatus reflects the combustion performance of flooring materials, including their substrates. Equipment Structure:
The machine consists of two parts: a combustion chamber and a control cabinet. (Split-type and all-in-one models are optional)

  1. Combustion Chamber Dimensions: L 1420 × W 1200 × H 2300 mm

  2. Control Cabinet / Combustion Chamber Material: Made of high-quality stainless steel, formed by CNC machining, with a beautiful rounded design.

  3. Burner: Self-manufactured by our company using 304 stainless steel, fully compliant with GB/T 11785 standards.

  4. Other Mechanical Parts: Made of high-quality stainless steel or thickened electroplated A3 steel, offering corrosion and rust resistance.

Control System:

  1. Dual Control via Computer and Touch Screen: Can be operated via the touch screen or controlled on a computer, with easy switching between modes. One device can be operated by multiple computers simultaneously (online at the same time), enabling LAN sharing. (User needs to provide a computer compatible with Win7/10 OS and a printer; host software, router, and network cables will be supplied with the equipment.)

  2. Includes a set of light transmittance measurement software capable of outputting curves and reports.

Installation Requirements (To be provided by the user):

  1. Space Requirements:
    a. External Dimensions: L 2530 mm × W 1270 mm × H 2700 mm (including control cabinet dimensions)
    b. Weight: Approx. 350 kg
    c. Test Bench: Must be placed at least 0.4 m away from walls and ceilings. The laboratory must be no less than 20 m², with a floor area of L 2530 mm × W 1270 mm.

  2. Power Supply Requirements:
    a. Voltage: 220V ± 10%, 50Hz
    b. Power: 4 kW

  3. Water Supply: Cooling water

  4. Gas Supply:
    Propane gas with purity not less than 95%, equipped with a pressure reducing valve, used for equipment combustion.
    One air compressor with a flow rate of not less than 500 L/min.

  5. Pollutant Description: Smoke and dust

  6. Ventilation Requirements:
    The equipment's exhaust duct needs to be connected outdoors or integrated into a smoke and dust treatment/purification system.

  7. Other Requirements: Due to the large size of the equipment, a forklift is required for unloading.

Supply Requirements:
The gas and air supplied to the radiant panel must pass through appropriate pressure regulators, flow control valves, safety devices, and flow meters. A proper supply system should meet the following requirements:

  1. The flow rate of natural gas, methane, or propane supply should be at least 0.1 L/s, with sufficient pressure to overcome friction losses in regulators, control valves, flow meters, and the radiant panel within the supply system.

  2. The air flow rate should be at least 4.5 L/s, with pressure sufficient to overcome friction losses within the supply system.

  3. Gas and air must have separate control valves.

  4. The gas supply line must include a check valve and a pressure gauge.

  5. An electric control valve that automatically shuts off the gas supply in case of power failure, or a drop in surface air pressure or temperature of the igniter.

  6. Provide filters and flow control valves in the air supply.

  7. For natural gas, methane, or propane at normal temperature and pressure, a flow meter with a range of 0.1 L/s to 1.0 L/s and an accuracy of 1% or better is recommended.

  8. For air at normal temperature and pressure, a flow meter with a range of 1 L/s to 10 L/s is suitable.
