【Instrument Features】Compared to previous instruments that utilized single-chip microcomputer (MCU) technology, this product offers the following advanced features:

  1. Dual Control System: Operation can be performed via the touch screen or a computer, with the ability to switch modes freely. One device can be operated by multiple computers simultaneously, supporting multi-terminal online access and LAN sharing.

  2. Automatic Rotation: The main and auxiliary burners can rotate automatically with precise positioning.

  3. Calibration: Each device is equipped with three standard optical filters, ensuring representative and accurate data for light source calibration.

  4. Design: The instrument features a reasonable structural design, easy operation, and convenient maintenance. It is suitable for determining the static smoke production of building materials, their products, and solid materials during combustion.

  1. Maximum Smoke Density (MSD) & Smoke Density Rank (SDR): 0-100% continuous measurement with automatic calculation.

  2. Calibration Accuracy: Error using standard optical filters is not greater than 3%. (Equipped with three standard filters for representative calibration).

  3. Bunsen Burner Working Pressure: (210 ± 5) KPa.

  4. Flame Application Time: 4 minutes.

  5. Burner Type: Bunsen burner, length 260mm, nozzle diameter 0.13mm, angled at 45° to the smoke chamber.

  12. Automation: Features automatic timing, automatic ignition, and automatic exhaust. The luminous flux can be linearly corrected in stages to ensure more accurate test data.

  6. Environment & Test Requirements:

    • Avoid direct sunlight or reflections shining on the instrument during operation.

    • After 90 minutes of testing, the gas source should be turned off to allow the instrument to cool down for 15 minutes.

  7. Airflow: No forced air movement during the working state.

  8. Installation: The instrument should be tested inside a fume hood (ventilation cupboard).
