Scope of Application
【Operating Instructions】
This equipment is developed according to the new national standard GB/T 2812-2006 "Test Methods
for Safety Helmets". It is used to detect the impact resistance and penetration resistance of safety
helmets. With high automation and easy operation, it is widely used in safety helmet manufacturing
enterprises, various quality inspection institutions, and construction engineering testing stations.

The instrument adopts microcomputer fully automatic control. It uses a dedicated processing system to automatically collect dynamic signals, process and output data. The instrument has a printing function, and can automatically record and lock the peak impact force.
It adopts a German imported high-precision dynamic force sensor with a range of 20KN.
It adopts a non-leakage magnetic adsorption structure, which can automatically position the center of the safety helmet for the drop hammer and penetration cone.
Test head forms: No. 1, No. 2 and metal head forms are cast with special molds, which meet the specific provisions of the standard. They can be repaired after being impacted, which is much better than the wooden head forms in the old standard.
The whole machine adopts European standard aluminum profiles and a frame structure for stronger stability. The electrical circuits are built-in, with a beautiful structure and a modern sense of technology and texture.
Impact height: 1000mm ± 5mm, adjusted by a vertical spiral handle. The height adjustment is convenient and easy to control; the height measurement is simple and intuitive, which greatly improves the test efficiency and accuracy.
The drop hammer and penetration hammer can be freely replaced, with simple operation.
Protection system: Newly designed surrounding metal protective mesh and installation connection fixing method, which greatly reduces the possibility of accidents during the test and further improves the safety of test operation.
A level testing device is installed at the bottom to ensure the equipment is horizontal during the test and improve the test accuracy.
Impact mode: It adopts the free fall form, which most realistically simulates the actual use scene, avoids the complex speed compensation of drop hammers with guide rails or guides, and ensures the accuracy of the test.
Head form: It complies with the provisions of Appendix A of the standard GB/T 2812-2006 "Test Methods for Safety Helmets".
Bracket: It can control the lifting, suspension and release of the impact drop hammer and penetration cone.
Drop hammer: Impact drop hammer: Mass is kg, the hammer head is hemispherical with a radius of 48mm, made of 45# steel, with a symmetrical and uniform shape; Penetration cone: Mass is kg, the penetration part: cone angle is 60°, cone tip radius is 0.5mm, length is 40mm, diameter is 28mm, hardness is HRC45.
Force sensor: Measurement range 0-20KN, minimum frequency response 5kHz, dynamic force sensor, accurate to 1N.
Base: It has impact resistance and can firmly install the force sensor.
Power-on display device: When the circuit forms a closed loop, it can send an alarm signal, indicating that the penetration cone has contacted the head form.
Drop hammer height: 1000mm ± 5mm.
1 piece each of No. 1 and No. 2 magnesium alloy test head forms, with a head form mass of 5.0kg ± 0.1kg, and other dimensions and parameters comply with the provisions of Appendix A of GB/T 2812-2006.
Working power supply: AC220V, 50Hz.
